FEP Encapsulated O-Rings have excellent chemical, temperature resistance, can resist high friction and limited resistance to aggressive chemicals and gas permeation. FEP O-Rings combine the resilience and sealing force of rubber with the chemical resistance of FEP .FEP Encapsulated O-Rings are supplied in Silicone core or Viton Core with a seamless FEP jacket.

Chemical properties

FEP Encapsulated O-Rings are solvent-resistant and chemically inert, they are not recommended for alkaline metals, fluorine and some halogenated compounds at high temperatures.
